Denise is Chief Executive of The Selwyn Foundation, an independent registered charity which champions initiatives that enable respectful ageing for vulnerable older people. Denise spearheads the Foundation’s charitable strategy and investment of resources, leading its work with strategic partners to deliver social impact at scale for seniors most in need. With the Office for Seniors and Age Concern New Zealand, Denise co-founded in 2023 the Aotearoa New Zealand National Forum for the Decade of Healthy Ageing | He Oranga Kaumātua, He Oranga Tangata, in response to the global UN Decade of Healthy Ageing currently underway. The Selwyn Foundation provides a range of secretariat support services to the National Forum.
